Detoxing Greeny-licious Juice

Juicing helps you absorb all of the nutrients from vegetables and can even help increase your energy. It can also play a role in helping you manage your weight. You might even give your immune system a boost. The majority of your ingredients should be organic, green veggies. Try experimenting with green veggies like spinach, celery, kale and swiss chard rather than fruits, which have a high sugar content. If you want it to be more palatable then you can add some ginger, apple, cucumber or lime. Be sure to drink it soon after you make it so you don’t lose precious nutrients. Make juicing a part of your regular diet. Your body will thank you for it!

I like fresh green juices (as beverages, not as meal replacements) because they give my digestive tract a break from the fiber in smoothies and other foods. This green juice is simple, yet perfect for a morning sipper or an evening pick me-up before dinner.
